This book was actually a fun read. LOT of mythology stuff going on, but in a good way. It was fast paced and very action-y like any good book that would remind you of those awesome Robert Louis Stevenson books or just a good ship travel book.

I really enjoyed the character development and again the fast paced nature of it very much. But that being said it was very stero-typical of this kind of novel and I would have liked to see something different from it. Maybe the sequel evolves all the set up in this one. Again still love it and I think everyone who likes this kind of book should read it.
