On November 2nd, something awesome is going down in H-town (Houston). The event known as The
Houston Bookrave is going to happen!
I personally am hoping that I can get down there for one of the biggest signing parties to happen! There's like 50+ authors going to be there from Sophie Jordan (we all know how much I love her) to B.C. Burgess to Angela Corbett!!!! So many cool people are going to turn out for this event it's like a candy shop and the candy is being able to have meet and greets to pick their heads, get stuff signed, cool things, and meeting cool people!
Here's the complete list of peeps that are going to be there:
And check out these peeps who are putting this amazeball event on!

Before Liz Lemon,
before "Weekend Update," before "Sarah Palin," Tina Fey was just a young
girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased
through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a
dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV.
She has seen both these dreams come true.
At last, Tina Fey's story can be told. From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live;
from her passionately halfhearted pursuit of physical beauty to her
life as a mother eating things off the floor; from her one-sided college
romance to her nearly fatal honeymoon—from the beginning of this
paragraph to this final sentence.
Tina Fey reveals all, and proves what we've all suspected: you're no one until someone calls you bossy.
(Includes
Special, Never-Before-Solicited Opinions on Breastfeeding, Princesses,
Photoshop, the Electoral Process, and Italian Rum Cake!)
(Synopsis from Goodreads)
If I said I don't like Tina Fey, that would be a freaking outright lie! I love this woman with all my heart and listening to her read her book, Bossypants made me sooooo happy the whole time.
I finished it awhile ago and totally thought I put up a review for it and then I check on here and see it's not so!
Bossypants is exactly what you want in a memoir: life lessons, awesome anecdotes, how to survive fires on a cruise boat, and how to be awesome (She doesn't explain that last one, the whole book is basically that because she is. Can you tell yet that I'm a Tina Fey fangirl? Can you?) She even goes into that whole Sarah Palin thing that happened. Which I found very enlightening!
I would go on about this book, but I'd be basically reciting the book verbatum. So I will leave you saying get the book (Audio version is awesome because she reads it to you!!!!) and dive in.
Or I could just fill this whole post with a TON of Tina Fey = Love. =)

I LOVE WEDDINGS!
Phew! That was actually easier than I thought. Now I would never have one myself. If it were me I'd elope, but that's for other reasons not to discuss at this moment in time.
My fascination with them has been around forever and for awhile I wanted to be a wedding planner, but my self diagnosed ADD got the best of me and now I'm studying computers!
So in the spirit of my confession and secret love of them I shall reveal some of the most amazing wedding cakes I have just found and are making me rethink of having a real wedding.
Sorry love of my life if you are reading this, I know you hate them, but I love them!
Binary:
Dungeons and Dragons (<3):
Some Futurama for you (<3<3):
This Stargate one is sooo adorable!!!
Now I LOVE the ones above, but this xkcd one would be the one I'd choose:
<3 Lydia
Also RANDOM side note: Casey Anthony: What the hell?!!! That's all I'm addressing.
