This week's teaser comes from one of my favorites, Beautiful Creatures:



His eyes softened. I thought maybe he pitied me, but it was something else.

"Mortals. I envy you. You think you can change things. Stop the universe. Undo what was done long before you came along. You are such beautiful creatures." He was talking to me, but it didn't feel like he was talking about me anymore. "I apologize for the intrusion. I'll leave you to your sleep.”

A play on a quote from Francois Rabelais which is featured in one of my favorite books, "Looking for Alaska" by John Green, This Great Perhapsless is my home away from home book blog! I'm a total nerd who loves to share the books that I surround myself with. I've always been the girl with a book in her face.
